Generally speaking, as I have not shot the NEF, but have other's in the 45-410 chamber's. 45 colt loads, don't shoot well due to the long jump in the 410 chamber. A scope won't help longer range accuracy either. At best, most are 25 yd guns, most won't shoot a basketball size group at 50. I'd only be guessing, but would it expect it to handle any pressure recommended for a strong Ruger BH given the designed frame handles higher pressures in a .223Rem and 45/70 than .45 Colt SAMMI specs. nothing to do with buds but H&R this gun is only good used as a 410 for accuracy. Even then its not made to fire slugs i got this gun with the 45 in it it losses a ton of power due to the gap the 45c shell has blow back soot on it bout half way down meaning most of the power goes out also there is a 2 " gap before the 45 c even hits the rifling so it blows. out @ 20 yards the shots were near 10/12/2014В В· DO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
